Lush 'Star Light, Star Bright' Review

There is nothing that I like better on a cold winters night then a Lush bath. Add a bit of glitter and nothing could ever come close. The Star Light, Star Bright bath melt has to be one of my favourite Lush products. It melts away to leave you bathing in a glittery wonderland of water. You come out of the bath feeling silky soft and resembling a disco ball!

Note of Caution: You will be covered in glitter and shimmer for days after!!!!!!

What are some of your favourite Lush products?

Winter Kisses

It is officially December and the countdown to Christmas has began. During the winter months my outfits progressively merge into all black. I have since convinced myself that the only way I can wear colour during the winter months is on my lips.

I have a few lipsticks which I go back to over and over again.

No7 Moisture Drench in 15 Golden Rose

This lipstick is the my perfect nude. It can almost be described as a copper toned brown. I find being very pale that nude lipsticks can often wash me out. However it adds a small amount of colour whilst still being a classic nude. The perfect winter day time lipstick.
(Sadly I think this is now discontinued)

Seventeen Lip Crayon in Knockout

I love lip crayons. They are so easy to apply and really build-able. You can layer the colour until you get the shade/pigmentation you want.

Rimmel Moisture Renew in 360 As You Want Victoria

A really nice berry toned pink lipstick. The pigmentation of these lipsticks is great. They are so long lasting. This shade is perfect for transforming a day look to a night look.

Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107

I think every lipstick lover owns this little beauty. When I think of the perfect winter lipstick this is the first one that springs to mind. A berry toned red which just stays put for hours. A must have for everyone's make up collection.

A New Makeup Revolution?

I have been reading post after post about the make up brand Makeup Revolution recently. I was intrigued by how such a cheap brand could be getting such great reviews. Whilst in my local Superdrug a few weeks ago I wandered over to the stand to see it in ruin. I was shocked at how little stock was left on the shelves. Luckily for me their was one blush palette left.

The blush palettes really jumped out at me when I was looking at their products. I love products which have multiple uses/colours and for only £6 this is a complete bargain.

I picked up the Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice.

There are 8 different colours consisting of shimmer and matte blushers, as well as a baked blusher and baked highlighter. All the colours are peach toned blushers and have amazing pigmentation. They blend super easily and last for hours. This is the perfect palette to take on holiday with you for the ease of access to a range of shades.

You can buy the palette here or in store at Superdrug.

I will definitely be picking up more products from this brand, including more blusher palettes.

Have you tried any of Makeup Revolution's products?
Which product should I try next?

Typical Winter 2014 Outfit

Typical Winter 2014 Outfit

I have been super boring with my outfits lately. I'd usually rather have an extra 15 minutes in bed then spend it choosing an outfit. Boring I know but their is just something about those cold mornings that makes me want to just stay in bed.

My current winter outfit consists of:
*Black Skinny Jeans
*Plain white long sleeved t-shirt
*New Look High Heeled Chelsea Boots
*Burgundy 2 in 1 bag from Primark
*Tartan Oversized scarf from New Look
*Black Leather Jacket
*Fluffy Socks (best things ever to wear with boots)
*Rimmel London Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107

What are you current winter outfit favourites?
